Kateryna Levchenko was born in 1989 in Russia. Soon she moved with her family to Kharkov, Ukraine. In years 1995 to 2005 she went to the Special Music School in Kharkov, Ukraine. Already in these years she was playing a lot of concerts and was invited to different festivals like: International Music Festival in Feodosia, Ukraine, International Bach Festival in Kharkov or International Festival ''The New Names'' in Belgorog, Russia. In age of 14  she was invited to perform the 2nd piano concert of S. Rachmaninov with Belgorod Philarmonic Orchestra.

Since november 2005 she lives in Hannover, Germany. At first she was a student of the Institute for High Talented Children by the High School of Music and Theater Hannover (Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover) in the class of Prof. Vladimir Krainev and since 2007 she is a full-student of the High School of Music and Theater Hannover in the class of Prof. Roland Krüger. In the year 2012 she did her first graduation at the High School of Music and Theater Hannover; in the year 2015 she got the Master degree at the same conservatory and at the moment she is studying at the faculty ''Soloklasse'', equivalent of Ph. D. of music.

Since 2012 Kateryna is also a student at the famous International Piano Academy ''Incontri col Maestro'' in Imola (Italy), where she is a student of Vovka Ashkenazy.

Kateryna took a part at the master classes with famous teachers and pianists like Dmitri Bashkirov, Sergio Perticaroli, Marcello Abbado, Arie Vardi and Aquiles Delle Vigne.

Kateryna gives a lot of concerts as a solo artist and with different orchestras in Germany, Australia, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.
She took a part at some musical programs on television and radio.

At the time of her musical education Kateryna  takes a part at a lot of international piano and chamber music competitions and festivals:

33rd International Piano Competition ''Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte'', Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic - 3rd Prize;

German's National Music Competition ''Jugend Musiziert'' together with Sophie Arbeiter, Violine: in Montabaur - 1st Prize, in Hannover - 1st Prize, in Freiburg - 2nd Prize;

Steinway International Piano Competition in Hamburg, Germany - 2nd Prize;

In year 2011 she won:

’’Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition’’ - Paris, France, 2nd Prize;

''European Grand Prize of Music'', Taurisano, Italy - Grand Prix and Special Prize;

"Citta di Barletta", Barletta, Italy – 1st Prize and Special Prize;

''Concours International de Piano Ile-de-France'', Paris, France – 1st Prize and Special Prize;

’’Concours International de Piano Claude Bonneton’’, Sete, France – 1st Prize;

2011 gave Kateryna Levchenko also her Débuts in Vienna (Austria) and in Paris (France).

In year 2012 Kateryna takes a part at two international piano competition and wins both with the first absolute prize:
at 13th International Piano Competition ''Citta di Castiglion Fiorentino'', Italy - Absolute 1st Prize and 3 Special Prizes and at the 1st International Piano Competition ''MadesimoMusica'' in Madesimo, Italy - also 1st Absolute Prize.

In 2012 Kateryna was invited to play at different music festivals, like ''Mendelssohn Festival'' in Taurisano (Italy), ''lamezia classica'' festival in Lamezia Terme (Italy) or in September at ''International Piano-Orchestra Meeting'' in Bacau (Romania)  and ''Kammermusiktage Maienfeld'' festival, which took place in Maienfeld and Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.
